Woods of Crediton have been ships chandlers, on this site since 1970. We supply high quality, new, used, government surplus and antique ship, workboat and yacht fittings. Our stock range includes mooring equipment such as ropes, wires, chains, fenders and anchors. We stock propellors, thrusters and impellers, diving equipment and compressors, tools, electrical fittings and test equipment, fixings and fastenings of marine quality, marine curios such as ships name plates and bells, marine fire fighting, safety and lifesaving equipment such as buoyancy aids, signal flares, and lifeboats. We have a large range of welders, generators, cranes (up to and beyond 4 ton), winches, bollards, capstans, and stantions. We stock pumps of all types (bilge pumps, high pressure and fire fighting, fresh and seawater, marine, agricultural and ex military), fishing and angling equipment, and reclaimed building materials. We always carry a stock of watertight hatches and doors, as well as numerous marine diesel and petrol engines from Perkins, Ford, Lister, Paxton, Allon, and Blackstone. We carry a huge range of spares and components.
